WHO ARE WE?

The Intercultural Action Group was formed in February 2018 as a response to the increasing intercultural population of Margaret River WA. Our aim is to provide support to migrants who are living in the Margaret River region.

OUR OBJECTIVES


  • To empower
  • To promote the benefits of cultural diversity within the community of Margaret River region
  • To plan & organize projects for the community to be inclusive
  • To offer support mechanisms for newly arrived and established people in the region
  • To promote the voice of diverse cultural groups within local governance
  • To network with like minded organizations Australia wide through Harmony Alliance, Welcoming Cities, FECCA, ConnectGroups  etc

SUPPORT

We are continuously receiving tremendous support from the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River & City of Busselton and we will welcome support from other Councils, local businesses and other local organizations that wish to support our aim.
